The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Sales and Operations Coordinator is to assist the Maintenance Sales and Operations Manager in launching successful maintenance and sales divisions in a new market. This new role will involve assisting the Maintenance Sales and Operations Manager with obtaining and supporting new client accounts. Direct maintenance work may be needed to meet client needs.

Sales Assistant Responsibilities
Retain and sell landscape maintenance contracts. Upsell plant health care, arbor, enhancement, and/or snow removal services.
Make certain that property meets or exceeds the client’s expectation and the company’s expectation in terms of appearance and beauty.
Develop strong positive relationships with clients based upon clear, frequent, effective, professional, and timely communication, mutual trust and ability to meet or exceed their expectations.
Prepare and present proposals in a timely and professional manner, according to company standards. Track all proposals in progress and aggressively pursue and follow-up to closure.
Participate in various events, organizations, and industry associations for the purpose of building relationships.
Develop community ties to enhance the brand of Weller Brothers.
Monitor production (time/expenses) with Operations Manager and production team and provide avenues to improve bottom line.
Identify job site priorities and/or coordination of jobsite schedules.
Execute site audits to provide enhancement and/or maintenance opportunities to the client and to provide feedback to the production teams.
Provide excellent organizational management, leadership, and communication between client and production team.
Promote high standards of for customer service, safety culture and a positive team environment
Provide assistance in managing crew members as needed including performance management, addressing complaints, and planning, assigning or directing workload
Perform other duties as assigned. (snow removal)
Maintenance Operations Assistance Duties
Assist in the management and oversight of all maintenance division operations including routing and logistics of lawn care crews, fertilization technicians, irrigation technicians, horticulturists, enhancement and snow removal personnel.
Manage equipment and staff allocation amongst crews
Perform field duties as required to meet staffing needs and client expectations.
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner.
- Use knowledge of turf grass and landscape industry to inform and educate clients.
- Perform and oversee day-to-day crew tasks including but not limited to lawn mowing, power raking, landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall cleanups and other lawn and landscape maintenance tasks.
- Manage and train new crew members. Make sure all crew members including yourself are accounted for on LMN time accurately each day to ensure proper processing of payroll.
- Hold crew members accountable for being on time to work and doing their respective duties.
- Hold crew members accountable for the way they treat company property.
- Mandate a ½ hour lunch break each day for crew.
Assist the Maintenance Sales and Operations Manager in maintaining and improving gross profit through efficiency and cost reducing opportunities within the maintenance division including:
Operations efficiency
Material costs
Equipment maintenance costs
Warranty minimization
Labor efficiency
Unbillable time
Assist with the development and implementation of job safety programs.
Assist with the development and implementation of job training programs
Recruit and interview maintenance division staff.
Maintain general knowledge of maintenance division clients and communicate with them occasionally to ensure client satisfaction with quality and service.
Assist Maintenance Sales and Operations Manager with fielding client service calls and feedback.
Address all client questions, comments, and concerns relating to maintenance services in a professional manner. Follow-up within 24 hours.
Acknowledge and solve client service complaints and address all complaints with the proper staff. Use the client is always right mentality.
Identify and report to Operations Manager on divisional equipment repair and new acquisition needs.
Manage and perform duties necessary for snow removal operations throughout all snow events.
General Responsibilities
Report time and productivity daily using LMN.
Keep and submit all receipts for material and fuel purchased.
Put in the hours necessary to make sure the job is getting done on time including weekend and holidays if necessary.
Maintain equipment. Responsible for getting all equipment to repair shops in a timely manner keeping in mind productivity.
Make decisions that are in the best interest of the company.

Education and Experience
- 3-5 years experience in the landscaping industry or related field.
- Leadership experience preferred (ie., foreman)
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
