Details about this Career
The primary responsibility of the Accountant II is to support the finance and accounting functions for Weller Brothers and all entities. Provide excellent customer service by assisting internal and external customers promptly and courteously. Answers questions and provide information as needed. Perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

Job Requirements
- Oversee accounts payable, including credit card activity
- Prepare accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Prepare and file sales and excise tax returns
- Assist with processing payroll and payroll taxes
- Prepare journal entries as needed
- Identify and implement process efficiencies where possible
- Assist in developing formal accounting policies and procedures
- Analyze financial information and assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Perform other accounting tasks as they arise
- Some general office duties, such as as assisting in answering calls and directing them to the correct staff (when needed)
Candidate Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in accounting required
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and core tax software
- Timely input of hours on LMN software to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Able to prioritize workflow and adjust to changing priorities
- Committed to a high degree of excellence
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently or on a team
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, with considerable attention to order and cleanliness
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
